Ok, so update.........I just went out and fired it up again, after letting it sit for a few days since I put it all back together. NOT ONE PUFF of smoke or anything upon startup or for a few mins, until engine began warming. Then began seeing some very mild smoke off and on, not bad at all. I'm assuming that since the car had the mod done/cyls purged a bit of residual/sat idle a few days and remaining oil residue dried up, that the light smoke was generated from leftover oil residue heating up in there and starting to burn off as engine ran?
Engine idle sounded great and smooth, revs were strong and unwavering
