I pray there is no war. But I want answers!

If there has to be a silver lining, it looks like cov-19 might be less deadly to children than the flu.

That has not been my experience. If for any reason your kids fall ill, keep them hydrated, give them vitamins and proper nutrition. Do not hesitate to take them to the pediatrics unit.

We are still learning about this. But don't let the "permanent damage" fear take hold yet. It could be true, we don't know. It's only been a few months. And it might only be in like .05% of cases if there is permanent damage... or it could be in 10% of cases. We don't know.

The human body is an amazing creation! It will heal. So far I haven’t seen permanent damage from the virus. We’re all moving about without any handicap, but I think it takes months to fully recover. I believe minor symptoms are still affecting us to this day. The symptoms are all consistent amongst all family members.

But as someone who has had walking pneumonia for a year without knowing (I have really large lungs and it took that long to progress and fill up with fluid enough to affect my breathing) and developed scar tissue in my lungs. With therapy and exercise, it does heal. My last set of films showed my lungs nice and clear again and I no longer wheeze on deep breaths. Smokers are also able to clear their lungs from years of damage after they quit. My sister was a lifelong smoker and would hack and gag all the time. She quit about a year ago, sounds like a totally different person.
^Now that above paragraph is unrelated to cov-19 per se, but the human body can repair itself to an amazing degree.

It is my interpretation that this virus gets in your nose or mouth. Then travels to your throat and lungs. It normally stops there with the common cold or flu, but here is where covid19 shines. Once it gets into your lungs, then it gets in your blood stream. Once in the blood stream, then it attacks your organs. For me I stay super hydrated, so kidneys were not greatly affected. However for me, my heart took a beating. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Blood pressure readings that were ridiculously high. Heart palpitations, shortness of breath, etc. My wife thought on a few occasions, that I was going to go into cardiac arrest in my sleep. She stated to me at one point my heart looked as if it were going to pop out of my chest. This went on for weeks. It also attacked my Gastrointestinal system. I never really suffered vomiting, but the other end, I’ll leave it there. This is still going on.
Never in my life have I been affected by any illness like this. But getting back to permanent damage. I live on 3/4’s of an acre, and I do all my own maintenance. I am pretty much back to full health. Here and there my gut acts up, but so far it’s the only symptom. My heart slightly reminds me it went through trauma, but so far the last 10 days have been ok.
Our bodies will heal if we stay hydrated, eat a proper diet, and take vitamins. And also, abstain from things that can lower our immune system.
Edited, to say one last thing. If you haven’t had the virus, continually practice all of the steps suggested to protect your ears, nose, and throat until the all clear is given.
