Thank you everyone for their kind words. I really helps to talk about it and not hold it inside. After the accident; I was stunned for the first 30 minutes or so and couldn't say anything. I basically slept the day away when I got home. I will call the insurance later to see whats going to happen with that.
Again I'm so relieved that NO ONE got hurt. I'm so grateful!!! I'm lucky, we where all lucky and blessed by up above.
The car handled the accident like a champ on both areas where I hit the girdor at around 40 - 45 mph. The rear left side of the car is a different story after getting hit by the Dodge. The whole panel is dented in the window didn't break suprisingly. The taillight is gone. The front licenses plate got stuck on the right girdor metal fence thing. Basically I need to get the whole left panel and rear bumper as well as the front bumper.
I'm not going to take any pictures because I believe pictures are for memories and I definately don't want to remember this.
When I got the ticket; I really didn't care at the time. That was really the last thing on my mind. The cop said I could argue it at court if I like which is about an hour and a half away towards the mountains. Its a 4 point ticket; if I just pay it; it would be reduced to 2. I believe I have a strong argument because the weather conditions caused me to loose control.
One of the funny moments was when the firefighters came to the car and asked if I had rolle the car. I was thinking in my head; does the car look that bad?
I don't really have the time right now to repsond to everyone but I will take everyones advice. Thanks again everyone. Please drive safe out there. You never know what can happen.
I'll update later after hearing from my insurance agent.
