Someone told me, as I was putting the flywheel bolts on, in the process of turning the crankshaft, I may have done something to the timing chain. But, wouldn't that cause the full engine to fail, not only one side?
I am just hoping it is an easy fix so I can go back and check if the transmission works better now..

After some research last night, every symptom the car has points out to the crankshaft sensor (located on the transmission itself) including rough / no start, sounds like timing is off and the shifter gets stuck in one gear. The car will be at mechanic until tuesday. I wish I could get to it and replace the darn thing to see what happens..
