Cheeto-in-Chief is not the only one in leadership role, though I realize his name is on the title of the thread. Blame should be placed on the House and Senate as well. We need new leadership in the executive AND legislative branches. McConnell has to go, Pelosi has to go, Schumer, etc. All the career politicians.
As for the pandemic response. Trump's been bad. But I believe anyone would have been bad under similar circumstances. Obama had a planning/response team but there is no crystal ball to see how well anything they recommended would have been implemented.
I certainly would have preferred Trump keep the team. But I would have preferred Obama do things that he promised and didn't deliver on as well.
I am about as "down the middle" as it comes when politics are involved and will give credit (or blame) when due. I
hope it reads that way. I want Trump out of office because he's an embarrassment. But I would be lying if I said I voted for Hillary in the last election. Was forced to vote third party, and with the nomination of a Biden, it looks like the Democrats have learned nothing.
My unfortunate prediction to stick to the title of the thread, is 4 more years of the spray tans.
