I think Weisslicht LED halo bulbs are as good as it gets. But yes, as pointed out, they will shut off after 5 minutes of just sitting with no air across the headlights as they do heat up and thermal shutdown until they cool back off. As long as I am driving, no problems at all for 7 years now.
