I didn't cut off the lines when I installed the Arnott's, no issues, touch wood. As Nannipoo said, I don't hear the pump run that much, it was running all the time before I installed the Arnotts.

I agree, redo it, the pump costs a lot more and may be a bigger hassle to get right.
