Transfer case does not need to come out to do the OPG, the front differential does as it bolts to the oil pan. Just take off the 3 bolts on the guibo and slide the drive shaft back a few inches into the transfer case and remove the front differential. You might consider pulling the front drive shaft once the diff is out and grease the splines. The AC drain is directly above the splines on the transfer case and could be dry.
