CEL Guidance - 2013 Diesel

Hello All,

I have a 2013 Diesel with about 83K miles. A quick background:

Back in Jan this year, with the help of my Foxwell NT530 scanner, I pulled the following codes and looked them up via bmwfault.codes

4862 - Air system, air to EGR mass flow, plausibility
4990 - Exhaust gas pressure sensor before exhaust turbocharger, plausibility
40D4 - DDE: Exhaust-gas recirculation controller, position control
48D1 - Exhaust gas pressure sensor before exhaust turbocharger, plausibility
4A2E - DDE: Glow plug, cylinder 5, activation

I proceeded with replacing all the glow plugs, controller and reset. Subsequently, after a bit of driving "4A2E" didn't come back and only the other 4 below CEL codes came back:
4862 - Air system, air to EGR mass flow, plausibility
4990 - Exhaust gas pressure sensor before exhaust turbocharger, plausibility
40D4 - DDE: Exhaust-gas recirculation controller, position control
48D1 - Exhaust gas pressure sensor before exhaust turbocharger, plausibility

At this point, given the ease of accessing the exhaust gas pressure sensor, I decided to clean the hose and replace the Exhaust gas pressure sensor. Upon resetting and further driving, the CEL codes came back.

I dug up more info and I see that one of the root cause of code "40D4" may be a result of excessive CDU and suggestions include replacing the EGR valve.

I also examined the spring on the EGR cooler, and it looks to be intact. So, hoping I don't have to replace the cooler and the culprit is the valve.

I am at a standstill, and before I order a new EGR valve, would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed further. Am I thinking in the right direction?

Thanks, and any info is greatly appreciated.
