On M62, usual case of the error you have is a worn out cam position sensor.

Two different M62 that I did timing chain guides, they ended up with that error on at least one bank and cute was new CPS.

You know my car's situation. I have replaced every possible sensor and checked the wire harness as well. I read from other forums that the nut that holds the vanos plates get loose and timing goes off. I am planning to look at the timing next..
