We've had a couple of Kias after they hired the Audi designer (Peter Schreyer I think?). They've come a long way and we had no issues for the 5 years we owned them. Sounds like you made the logical choice.

We are actually in the next few years thinking of a Telluride (Kia) vs. a Palasade (Hyundai) because we are starting to need a good sized third row and nothing from the Germans or Americans makes sense financially. Too bad because both options are boring to drive.
