Our response toward this pandemic shows out people are not adaptable to any threat that forces us to change our ways of living. The passing of dinosaurs comes to mind.

The underlying conditions that caused this virus mutation from animals to people is still present. That means more of these type of species jumping mutation are on the horizon.

So far our behavior places us at the bottom of the food chain.
