And yet a little more info, no clue if it is related. On cold startup, the AC compressor will not provide for cold air until I start driving (needs some higher RPMs to generate pressure, no doubt it is starting fail). Tried MAX setting, no different. Aux fan does not spin on MAX setting until engine is at operating temp. AC will blow very cold air once moving (just had the AC charge topped off). Under warm start conditions (truck not sitting overnight), the AC works fine, almost immediate cold air.

Could the AC compressor in some way be triggering, during highway driving conditions, the temp guage issue???
