Fifty150hs is on a distinguished road
Installed my coil overs last weekend. Fronts were simple. The rears were a PITA. Or I should say getting the rear springs out was. Installing the coilovers themselves was as easy as the shock would be. I did not change the preload as the instructions advise they come set with 5mm of preload and they recommend not changing it. So I didn't. You don't need to to lower the car. I pulled the shocks and struts and measured them and set the coilovers 2" shorter than the length of stock units. After I got everything back together the ride height was only maybe 1/2" lower than stock. I'm guessing the stock springs are softer than the coilovers and sag more when loaded. So, this weekend things come apart partially again and I'll dial the coilovers down some more. Since they came out of the box about 4" shorter than the stock units, I'm betting another 2" will result in the drop I was originally looking for. Should have left them alone. Oh well.

I set the damping right in the middle. This is me daily so I've been driving it for a few days now and it rides nice and even though not lowered yet it feels more "planted".

I'll update after I get them dialed down this weekend.
