Update on the ALC lighting fix now that I have had some sleep. The system is good to go now which is great, but I remember now what happened. I had some water intrusion into the LH headlight (after I modded the lights back in 2016) and it fried the ALC module on the bottom of the headlight. I replaced that module with a good used one (multiple actually) but the system never worked again. I think it had to be reset on the software side before it would all play nice together. So the actual fix was the used functional ALC module combined with resetting the system. Just wanted to clarify that.

Thanks guys. She's become a quasi garage queen and it is kind of nice to see her clean almost 100% of the time.

Thanks. It has a learning curve that's for sure. I spent about 10 hours reading up on the BMW software suite over 2 weeks before diving in to familiarize myself with it. I wanted there to be as close to zero chance of borking a module as possible. I downloaded all the software stuff and installed it onto a Win 10 laptop. That wasn't too bad, but had to track down all the missing Microsoft .dll's and such that cause the software to not work initially.
I have ISTA + as well but have not tried to install it yet. I am anticipating it fighting me though when I finally get around to it.
