Posting here for more traction. 2010 x5 35d pre-lci. Having some troubles with a new (used) frm3. Old one stopped working. Grabbed a new one (2012 model) from junkyard and was able to write vin and code to defaults. However, I have been unable to get the inner tail lights working properly. They come on as drl, but they do not increase brightness with brake applied. I have tried playing with different options including brake force with no success. I should note the new frm has a manufacturer date of 5/17 so I'm assuming it was replaced on the wrecked x at some point. Has anyone dealt with this or have any insight into what I may be missing?
