I do agree most technicians are parts hangers today, especially at dealerships, I can’t argue there, but I have a couple of guys that I work with here close to Gahanna that are worth their weight in gold! I’ve seen these guys break out a multimeter to test the pin out on TPS and MAF units before making a guess that they are bad or taking the scanners word for it.

That said, the Xoutpost community have trouble shooting down to a science (through just sheer volume of shred experiences) for the most part - and I think that comes from a true desire to fix the problem vs just spend money and guess until it runs again.
