HellRazor35 is on a distinguished road
Issue resolved, since the Fob I have has a soldered in place battery. Ordered a new Fob Case and battery

- Cracked the old one open, removed the green board and de-soldered and re-soldered the new battery.

- Fitted to the new Fob case

- Issue Resolved

You know its funny, I am not new to Bimmers, I LOVE my E34's S50/ZF's Swaps. Slammed with ACS S5 Kit and ACS Type II 19" rims. Even did my own Garrett T5 Turbo 6psi boost on the one. Flashed ECU no standalone management....Real sleeper on the road.

- Since getting the 2-2007 X5 for my daughters and venturing into the Bimmer ODBII (n52n) world and trying to cut my teeth on all the changes that came with the ODBII and technology changes that BMW implemented.

- Its been tough enough getting up to speed and learning/researching all the issue that the N52N has. Worst of it is that there is no Bentley Manual for the 2007 X5

- This was my bible for my e34's when I did my swaps and repairs and still is to this day. Did not need all the scanners to fix M50tu and S50 issues

I am assuming that I am going to need to buy a couple Bentley Manuals
- One to cover the X5 in general
- Another to cover the n52n

or is using ProTools and ISTA+ enough?

Finally got ISTA+ to talk to the X5's last night

These 2007 X5 have been a real pain in the a$$ so far, not so much the mechanical part, but rather finding good information on part locations. IE TPS location?

Is it in the back behind that carpet in the right side or is it mounted under the frame or under the passenger glove box?

Both X5's are equipped with BlueTooth and only one can sync to a Phone. Researching for this is no different trying to find locations or BT modules.

Ask questions on XOutPost most always creates more "Rabbit Holes" to go down
