The Ibus needs the IBUS app. It should have come with the Avin, but you have to activate the app. Sorry, but I don't remember how I did it. I think you open the app and go through the settings, and I think it's buried in there.
The GPS extension cable gets plugged into the antenna cable that would have been plugged into the NAV unit in the back of the car. The extension cable gets plugged into the end of that cable. Rear left of the truck, behind the panel.

Thanks for replying - I do have the IBUS app on the Avin, but it just shows engine RPM. I will try to figure out how to activate.
Seems like the GPS extension cable is too short to get to the nav system box, will have to take that apart next time. Wonder if I have to run that on the left side of the car...
