Wanted to follow up on this; We didn't have the luxury of time to just put a few gallons in and wait/test but we did fill up the vehicle and upon filling this particular starting issue did subside.
We don't let our vehicle's tanks get below half a tank in the winter, in case of snow storm, etc., so it may be some time before the symptoms are exhibited again. That is unless I get the time to replace this part before Winter is over.
