CW - Cquartz UK 3.0 is what I used on mine - it's pretty good to work with if you are looking at doing it yourself, for touch-ups etc.
Today I finally tackled my ZF 6HP26X transmission service - changed out a bunch'o'seals (here's the old stuff...).
Had a bit of trouble with the bridge seal - I found the new one wouldn't sit correctly in the transmission body. Crawling out from under the car, I found the new seal had an extra key or tab on it that prevented it being fitted correctly...
In the end I used an X-Acto knife to cut the tab away - it then fitted fine. It was certainly the correct part - it is a genuine ZF part and has 6HP26/28/32/34 stamped on it.
Transmission (still) working smoothly - although the 2-1 slam is very pronounced. I've reset the adaptations and tomorrow I'll find a decent section of road and run through the adaptation procedure.
All-in-all, not a tough job but backbreaking without a lift. And it's messy - Lifeguard 6 fluid everywhere!
