Yep, you understand correctly. I am almost $25k into ownership experience including purchase price. I don't include fuel or insurance in that as you would pay those on any shit box too. I have those figures as well (Red is down to about 4000 miles a year) however. ~$3600/yr is a smoking deal to drive a lux sport SUV.
