Thought I'd throw this in. I've developed a few apps over the years and had thoughts about making a car maintenance app that didn't suck.
While researching, I found
airtable.com. It's a database app that syncs with desktop app, mobile app and website. You can even embed your spreadsheet into your own website. The user interface is amazing. If you can spreadsheet, you can use this. Hell, it's probably easier than a spreadsheet.
Best part is that you can scan receipts and save as PDFs, JPGs in a "cell". So no more paperwork to save.
Anyway, I use it for the X5 and home-maintenance stuff. I can look up shit right while I'm talking to people.
It does summarize dollars spent, and that's pretty depressing ($12,762.88, including purchase price). I try to ignore that.
Anyway, worth a looksee.
