It is definitely possible. Chicago fill but also as I mentioned, ran injector cleaner and my consistent lean condition also went away, likely not just a coincidence.
My tip off was in addition to the lean fuel mix alert I got a misfire on one cylinder, which was what I had in spades when dealing with my wife's previous car, that problem completely vaporized with one treatment of injector cleaner.
So, I put in a bottle and half a tank of gas (to increase the concentration), and no errors since and coincidentally best mpg in months.
