Except all the design defect parts are in any used one. Much better to use the aluminum flap repair kit than a mysterious miles used one.
If the flap was not worn I'd for sure do the 20¢ repair but that also required the pin to be in reasonable shape (but a little worn hole is accounted for in my fix).
