I have 3x NT520 Pro's that I've bought from big sellers on eBay. All good, 3 different cars = BMW, Porsche, Honda, and I like to leave them in the cars just in case ...
As best as I can tell, all the big eBay sellers are factory distributors for Foxwell manufacturing. So if you buy from an eBay seller that sells a lot of these things, you're basically getting them direct from Foxwell. I think I remember them shipping directly from Foxwell (in China) rather than the eBay storefront (also in China).
And BTW, regarding the earlier question about a different model number, my understanding is that the 510/520/530, Pro / not Pro, and Schwaben branded vs. Foxwell branded are all pretty much the same thing. (I assume same for elite vs. non-elite, but that's a new thing to me). Slightly different buttons, features, reset button, etc. But basically they do the same stuff on your BMW.
Things beyond those models, which Foxwell makes a lot of, will be completely different - mainly in not having the BMW-specific functionality for active testing or deep troubleshooting.
