Turns out prob because they used Chinese VR on the reman but it turned me off of Bosch and I’m back to Valeo.

I would be ok with NEW Bosch but I’d still be leery of using just from getting burned.

That's good to know! As far as I can tell, the air ducting and VR connector should all connect the same, right? When I took out my alternator to change the OFHG, I couldn't remember which one I have. I was thinking about going to a wrecking yard and picking up a spare.

Anyway, not trying to jack this thread. Thanks andrew!
