Be prepared. As with wpoll's experience, every trans adaptation reset I've done resulted in TERRIBLE feeling shifts for the first ~30-50 miles.
Absolutely terrible. On our E70 (6hp28x) that I replaced the trans on I even got one trans failsafe occurrence requiring a restart. Thought I had borked the trans install. After another 20 miles or so... butter smooth and no problems since. So just be aware.

That LG6 is so thin. I'll never run it in anything but a new Bimmer or one that has had trans fluid drain/fills every 50k miles. It is water thin. While hail mary'ing the E70 trans I tried Pentosin, Redline, Liqui Moly, and Valvoline Maxlife fluids. All are thicker than the LG6. Liqui Moly and Pentosin slightly thicker while the Valvoline is much thicker and on a higher mileage trans I can only imagine it aiding in keeping the pressures up. Of the 4 fluids, it was the only one capable of getting the E70 to grab 4th gear without immediately triggering failsafe mode before swapping out the trans.
I'll be sure to update on how the two trucks get on after the service.
