  • ZF Trans pan/filter service kit - ZFS-1068298084 (x1)
  • Transmission pan bolts - 24117552348 (x21)

The trans pan/filter kit comes with a mechatronics sleeve but I ordered an extra one (~17) because I had a bad experience once while replacing one and was forced to wait for another parts order when my new replacement didn't want to cooperate. An entire service (including Valvoline Maxlife Multi Vehicle ATF) ran me ~$250.
I am just starting to have the hard shift on an incline and am ready to do the service. CW, I was wondering if you have ever messed with the bridge seal in the valve body? Part #24347588727. I suspect the body will have to drop from the transmission? And are you reusing bolts from the valve body? I have a habit of replacing bolts wherever I work if they are sealed up inside?

We are getting ready to do the service on my daughter's e46 as well. My brother-in-law got his lift installed at the house and we are ready to put it to good use!

We are getting the parts from FCP and the kits they have come with Redline Fluid. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks, all!
