I can't really comment on the redline fluid. Only had it in the e70 for a short period and never while it was actually on the road. It's a good fluid though so I'm sure it'll be fine. Funny most the FCP kits I see come with liqui moly or pentosin.

And you are correct. The kit uses ZF fluid. I was looking at the kit for my kid's car. Here is the one I plan on ordering:
