I have used no-name and Osram bulbs (#64113) but the best I've found so far (in terms of performance and longevity) are the Flosser 12v 10W BA9S Halogen bulbs (#4010).

Remeber that these are halogen bulbs and so need to be kept clean. Wipe them clean with isopropyl alcohol once you've fitteed them to the reflector.
Any idea if this would fit on the E66 ?
