I can’t see any way to spin the pump with a drill or other tool like one would do with an earlier American V8 so I wonder if BMW made any other arrangements. I have seen a setup whereby a tank of oil is pressurized and then attached by hose to the pressure sender port. Not sure if this would work on the M62 however.

Simply pull the fuel pump relay and crank the engine to build oil pressure no?
