Given that the intake manifold was not coming off there was no need, or desire, to replace all 6 glow plugs. After replacing the module the error code disappeared. Hence, the fault was in the module not the glow plug. If I ever take the manifold off then I would likely replace the glow plugs.
I ordered my OE module from ECS tuning.
