I only heard the software had malware.

I also have the think diag Bluetooth dongle which has a far better interface and uses smartphone for the view screen but the software is so poorly made I posted a one star review. I still almost exclusively use the think for my car because it's always plugged in so it's a convenience thing.

For anybody with think: use manual selection to go read/clear a code. It takes 250 seconds for auto scan and 10 to manually select. Again terrible interface. Doesn't remember the auto scan even when you pick an unlabeled saved VIN it saves no time because it scans for every module every time.
