This is technically for an E39 standard (non-pano) sunroof. It seems that the parts are at least very very similar...so I'm using it as a primer to figure out how to tear mine down to fix it. Seems like it's a pivot-to-rail failure that I should be able to observe so I can purchase the correct parts.
