Chaos has ensued since the last storm caught the X5 outside.
Problems: no inside lights, rear doors don't lock or unlock with FOB or button (randomly they do work), rear tailgate and hatch don't open, button does not work for the lid, and rear windows don't go up or down.
Fuses 20, 24, 60, and # rear hatch check out. Front doors lock and unlock with FOB. With fuses being good, could the GENIII module finally be bad? It still won't go to sleep. In a week or two, I'll be able to park it for a bit for troubleshooting. The GENIII module will go out for checking. A few new parts will go in. New single probe plugs will go in. A new filter and oil are on order. The valve cover does not leak so that will wait a bit. The axel oils will be changed. I have a string for the moment to open the lid if necessary.
Everything was working great until that rain storm.
I have a front left replacement switch to try.
Any guidance?
