I've always bought my RF tires used 2/3 off so price wasn't a concern. I bought them after people wore 30% off the top and prob didn't like the sound of other performance issues like you describe.

I do have roadside with my insurance so if I'm lucky enough to have cell service I could be in ok shape. My car does have a full size spare but wife's has none so I will be looking into what spare options I have for her car.
