NPR’s Throughline this past Sunday had a Podcast that talked about “ what happened after civilization collapsed”

It was a good piece on the end of the Bronze Age and what might have caused its demise.

History is full of civilizations that thrived and then later collapsed. I like to think that we’ve come far enough to have learned the lessons from these past failures and improved as a whole.

But looking at these last couple of years, I can only say, no this doesn’t happen in America.

But it does, and I don’t think we’ve improved from the Bronze Age all that much.

Surr, we have more advanced technology. But we are still suffering from all the usual woes that our ancestors faced thousands of years ago.
