Curious as to what you found out regarding this? I was working on my 4.6 today and noticed it has a fitting for a hose on the back of the alternator, but I don’t think the 4.4 it is replacing does?! RealOEM is no help either, as you said. It makes sense that the water comes in, and needs to get out.
