Question

Ooh yea that one is like dead center = 90 C +/- a lot, right?

That one doesn't get to me too much... it doesn't actually report a number, so i can't be bothered by it, right?

I actually like the way they make the temp needle stick to the same perfectly vertical position within the normal operating temp range - it makes it really obvious when something is going wrong. I was doing trips at night in winter (which in Australia isn't exactly that cold anyway), and the needle just wouldn't stay up. One new thermostat later, and it's all good again. If the needle was 'accurate' it would be way more difficult to tell when something like that needed to be fixed, so it all works out.
