I have a very loud clicking in the left rear happening until 40-45mph. It also does it while in reverse going in a circle.
The good times started a few days ago, coincidentally with the cold and freezing at nights. It clicked for a night of driving, didn't the next day, but then started again immediately today. It still clicks after the vehicle is warm.
I just had it aligned 500 miles ago because the same tire that is presently clicking, also wore the inner edge all the way down to cords. It was also cupped in the center even though I kept the tires overfilled at around 47psi. Also about 1000 miles ago I changed all the TC, trans, front and rear diff with all the proper fluids. No grease spots from any leaking around boot. Alignment did make the tire correct ...1.5/6 . Ill find the paper...
So my non mechanic mind is telling me to replace the cv joint or shaft... But if anyone more smarter than me that might have any advice or comments on this situation, I would love to hear it. Thanks so much!

The dealer diagnosed it as a bad diff.
I didn’t believe them so I went with my gut feeling and changed the wheel bearing. Sound is gone and everything was good
