My next step is the DISA upgrade, not yet sure about the catch can, yet, have to see if it is still working/not leaking (cap seals good, no mayo traces, but then the Vanos and valve cover gasket are >300 miles old).
At my current rate of accumulating miles on the X5 (less than 100 in 6 months), it might be 285 years 'til it gets 267k miles; I'm 71, and have only driven my five current vehicles less than 10000 miles altogether in the 5.5 years since retirement.
I formerly drove 25k miles a year commuting to work (in my daily driver: '09 HHR Panel), and up to 38k miles a year when also dragracing (DD + my '04 2500HD tow vehicle). Most of my miles now come going to the in-laws ranch, 45 miles away, on holidays & birthdays (there are 4 generations on the compound), and about 500-1000 a year towing my home-built camper.
