I changed my plugs yesterday, and checked my coils -- they have a 2005 build date. I went through my maintenance log from the PO and they were replaced under warranty at that time. Instead of replacing all of them, I ordered a brand new one from FCP Euro to keep in the car should one end up failing. I think this was a recommendation from crystalworks, and a very good one.

Then my better half called to tell me that she listened to the radio for an hour and the car wouldn't start. Sounds like she killed the battery. It is about four years old and has been drained several times. So I am going to head out and get a new one tonight. I was probably pushing it at that age anyways. This car will be seeing road-trip duty for the holidays, and will be the primary family car until our Mazda is fixed (fender bender) so it'll be money well spent.

I also received all of the new power steering hoses (every one) as well as an OFHG and the GAS DISA valve rebuild kit. I will be starting on that project on Saturday.

We also got our first real snow this weekend, which made me happy that I invested in a set of Blizzaks last year. Winter is coming late but we should be getting even more this week.
When I had a coil go south on me a few years ago I said screw it and replaced them all. I figured at nearly 200,000 miles if one was croaking, the rest wouldn't be far behind.
