Does anyone know how the spring/plunger goes in the banjo bolt on the bottom of the power steering pump? I’m thinking it may be installed incorrectly not allowing enough flow but since it’s been a couple months since I took it apart and put it back together I can’t remember it’s exact orientation. The service manual and any parts diagrams I could find have been no help. It’s such an extensive job to remove this bolt (subframe must be dropped to remove it) that I can’t use trial and error. At the end of my rope here on this problem.
