Loads of codes
Just hooked up my new scanner, got a bunch of codes back.
2006 e53 3.0i
I'm trying to troubleshoot trans failsafe right now, also got a 4x4 dsc message the same time I entered limp mode.
08 DME: Signal, mass air flow sensor
0F DME: Plausibility, cutout time
2D DME: Multifunction steering wheel, monitoring, interface
44 DME: Activation, solenoid valve, tank ventilation
8B DME: Signal, CAN, tank fill level
8F DME: Tank-leak diagnosis with DMTL
A0 DME: Engine-throttle position controller, jammed briefly
A8 DME: Thermostat, map cooling, mechanical, jammed open
EA DME: Catalytic-converter efficiency, bank 2
EC DME: Trimming, oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, bank 2
91 EGS: CAN torque reduction
94 EGS: CAN engine temperature
04 LWS: Slider fault (calibration operation)
05 LWS: Internal fault (EEPROM)
5EBI DSC: Steering-angle sensor, supply
5F23 DSC: Engine management interface
5F42 DSC: Transmission control limp-home operation
54C6 VTG Oil Wear
Do any of these codes hint at what the cause might be? I've just erased the codes, but don't plan on driving until I can get a better idea of what might have caused this.
Also is there anything else I can do with a scanner to get more insight into what the issue might be?
