DIS - Diagnostic Information System (for newbies)

After finding out Sleep Mode has 16 "wake up" inputs, I threw the towel up in the air. It has not hit the ground.
A local shop is doing a scan on Thur. Knowing what's bad will save me hours of going through component by component. Hopefully, the solution will only be a parts swap.
Does any software have the same diagnostics info as BMW DIS? Once this sleep issue is resolved, I'll probably invest in software for long term maintenance. I see old listings DIS loaded PCs for sale. Nothing current however I need to search thoroughly.
