Like Nick was saying, the ZHP had a 6800 rpm rev limit, so my guess is, there is probably some wiggle room with the M54 for tuning, without harm. But it needs to be done correctly.

By the way, I would really like to get my hands on some ZHP cams! I would have taken them out of mine when I sold it, but I did not want to sacrifice my E53’s.
Well... The crank harmonic issue starts well below 6,800. Depending on who you ask, it's either over 6,000 or over 6,500.

In truth, it's not a huge issue for a street car. But it is a huge issue for a track car.
