If you don't know the maintenence history..... everything.

Front and rear diff fluid change.
Transfer case fluid change.
Transmission fluid and filter change.
Cooling system refresh.
Replace any leaking oil gaskets.
Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Inspect cv boots
Replace engine mounts
Serpentine bent
Tensioners and pulleys

All these things regular people tend to neglect until it breaks.
