I was concerned about running the battery down, if the thermal switch failed

I had set mine up with thermal switch control (plus a manual override), which was only functioning with the ignition on. On a hot day, I wanted it to run a bit longer, unnattended, but didn't entirely trust the thermal switch to shut off the power before running the battery down. I've had thermal switches/controllers fail me a few times over the last 30+ years.
So, I bought and installed a BlackVue Power Magic Pro battery run-down protection device (meant for running dashcams for awhile after leaving the car) that I hooked up inline with my thermal switch/manual override/fan relay. https://xoutpost.com/1218266-post29.html
It looks like it'll do as I desired, but I may have to tweak the thermal switch settings, to let the fan run longer (it shuts off just before the BlackVue set-point). It seems to be what I wanted, for $27.
