I just ordered one for my 2001 X5; I have one of those plug-in seatbelt substitutes (I formerly used one in my HHR, when I had a cooler or toolbag in the passenger seat).

There'll be no kids in that seat, but my 5'4", 14-year younger-than-me wife could use a good punch in the face sometimes...not a problem.
